As 2010 approaches, many of us will find ourselves reflecting on last year, writing New Year’s resolutions and wondering what the coming year has in store for us.

To celebrate growing older, Regina Brett once compiled this list of the 45 lessons life taught her. Her list was originally published in her column for Cleveland’s Plain Dealer. It’s the most requested column she’s ever written. The sentiments and majestic photographs presented in these slides are a moving reminder of what is truly important in our life.
